Refund & Cancellation Policy

Bluwave Galumoana Ltd – Videography, Photography & Live Streaming Services

At Bluwave, we value professionalism, preparation, and fairness in all our productions. Because each project requires advance scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation, the following refund and cancellation terms apply:

1. Deposits and Payments

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings.

• The remaining balance is due upon project completion, unless otherwise stated in your contract or invoice.

• Work will not commence until the deposit has been received.

2. Cancellations

• More than 14 days’ notice: Clients may cancel and receive a refund of any payments made excluding the non-refundable deposit.

• 7–14 days’ notice: A 50% cancellation fee will apply (based on the total quoted amount).

• Less than 7 days’ notice or same-day cancellation: The full quoted amount will be charged, as staff and resources will already be allocated.

3. Postponements

• We understand that unforeseen circumstances happen. If you wish to reschedule your booking, Bluwave will transfer your deposit to a new date (subject to availability) at no extra cost if notice is given at least 7 days before the original booking date.

• Postponements made within 7 days of the event may incur a 25% rebooking fee.

4. Refunds

• Refunds are only issued if Bluwave fails to deliver the agreed service due to internal error or unavoidable circumstances beyond our control (e.g., equipment failure, illness, or natural disaster).

• Refunds will not be issued for changes of mind, dissatisfaction with creative direction after client approval, or delays caused by the client.

5. Delivery & Revisions

• Clients are entitled to one round of minor revisions (e.g., trimming, colour correction, text placement).

• Additional edits or re-shoots requested outside the original scope will incur additional costs.

• Final media (photos/videos/livestream recordings) will only be released once full payment is received.

6. Force Majeure

Bluwave is not liable for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, venue restrictions, or equipment malfunction. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide partial refunds where appropriate.

IShipping & Travel Policy Bluwave Galumoana Ltd – Videography, Photography & Live Streaming Services Because Bluwave provides on-location media and production services, our team is able to travel anywhere within New Zealand and the Pacific region to deliver projects for our clients. 1. Travel & Logistics Travel outside of Auckland will incur additional costs to cover transportation, accommodation, and daily allowances where applicable. These costs will be clearly itemised and agreed upon in advance with the client before confirmation of booking. Depending on the project location, travel may include flights, vehicle hire, freight of equipment, or freight insurance for sensitive gear. 2. Local and Regional Services For projects within Auckland, a standard travel fee may apply based on distance and crew size. For inter-island or international work (e.g. Samoa, Australia, Pacific Islands), Bluwave will prepare a custom travel quotation that includes airfare, airport transfers, and freight where required. 3. Equipment Shipping All professional equipment is safely packed and transported by our crew. In cases where freight forwarding or shipping services are required, Bluwave ensures items are fully insured under company coverage. 4. Coordination & Scheduling Clients are responsible for confirming site access, local permissions, or entry passes prior to the scheduled filming or event date. Bluwave will coordinate all travel schedules in consultation with the client to ensure setup and delivery timelines are met.
